Karnavati Literature and Film Festival 2023 (KLFF) is all set to be inaugurated at the varsity’s sprawling campus on February 9
Ahmedabad (Gujarat): In its relentless pursuit of creating platforms for engaging and poignant dialogues and discourses on a range of diverse subjects concerning our society and country, Karnavati University has taken yet another leap. Diving into the world of films and literature, the Karnavati Literature and Film Festival 2023 (KLFF) is all set to be inaugurated at the varsity’s sprawling campus on February 9. Karnavati University is a state private university dedicated to excellence in teaching and is focused on interdisciplinary learning.
Karnavati Literature and Film Festival is a celebratory initiative that seeks to light the sparks of literature, film, theatre, folk, art and culture into a grandeur of fireworks through incredible creative encounters. The festival will witness engaging speaker sessions, interactive panel discussions, workshops and a host of performances.
In its endeavour towards focusing on interdisciplinary learning, by far, Karnavati University has seen resounding success of the Youth Parliament and the Ahmedabad Design Week, which were organised over the years, with participation from across places.
Shri Ritesh Hada, president, Karnavati University, said, “At Karnavati University, it is our constant endeavour to create platforms for meaningful discourses and dialogues over a range of subjects. As we embrace and engage with the constantly changing world in an age of social media and information overload, where attention spans are shrinking by the day, KLFF is an attempt to bring back the views and thoughts from storytellers, the writers and the original ‘content creators’ who have been relentlessly engaged in creative pursuits to seek and tell stories from a slice of everyday life or the world around us or even alternate realities.”
“KLFF is yet another endeavour of Karnavati University to create a dialogue, enable free flow of thoughts, ideas and discussions, as we celebrate the world of films and literature – which mirror the world we live in today,” Shri Hada further went on to say.
KLFF will also witness some scintillating performances over the evenings. Participants and patrons will get a chance to witness musical magic from Maati Bani, Guzzler and Vishal Shekhar on Feb 9, 10 & 11 respectively and some rib-tickling humour at Harsh Gujaral’s stand up comedy performance
