Gandhinagar : The Gujarat Government has confirmed 16 countries and 14 organizations as partner nations and organizations, respectively, for the upcoming 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit slated for January 10 at the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.

Among the partner countries are Japan, Finland, Morocco, Republic of Korea, Mozambique, Estonia, UAE, Australia, UK, Netherlands, Norway, Nepal, Thailand, Bangladesh, Germany, and Egypt.

The partner organizations are American Chamber of Commerce in India, Canada India Foundation, EPIC India-University of Chicago, Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Indo-African Chamber of Commerce & Industry, International Solar Alliance, Japan External Trade Organization, Netherlands Business Support Office, The Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India, UAE India Business Council, US India Business Council, US India Strategic Partnership Forum, and the Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam.

The government emphasized that the forthcoming summit serves as a pivotal platform to attract investments, particularly focusing on burgeoning sectors like semiconductors, green hydrogen, e-mobility, renewable energy, and FinTech. Collaborating partner countries and organizations will actively engage in sectoral and country seminars, aligning with the overarching vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.

Highlighting the pivotal role of partner countries and organizations, the government underscored their contribution to strengthening bilateral relations and promoting the summit across diverse platforms. Their involvement is seen as a catalyst for fostering collaboration, trade, and investment opportunities.

The government also acknowledged the substantial contributions made by partner countries and organizations across the nine previous editions of the summit. Their involvement has been instrumental in elevating the summit’s stature and generating significant responses in terms of socio-economic and cultural collaborations.

The roots of Gujarat’s investor meets date back to Keshubhai Patel’s tenure as chief minister. However, the event reached new heights under the leadership of Narendra Modi after he assumed the chief ministerial role in 2001.
