Lucknow: Zaphira Organic Farms OPC Private Limited has announced a landmark ₹65 Crore Series A funding round at a valuation of ₹650 Crores, marking one of the most significant early-stage raises to emerge from Uttar Pradesh’s startup ecosystem. The round, involving a dilution of just 10% equity, was led by a consortium of private investors and venture capitalists backing a bold vision: transforming organic consumption into a premium lifestyle experience.

Founded just seven months ago, Zaphira’s rise has been swift and strategic, positioning the brand at the intersection of organic purity, luxury hospitality, and experiential retail.

The Visionary Behind the Brand

At the centre of Zaphira’s meteoric growth is its founder, Shayan Abdul Jishan, a first-generation entrepreneur who identified a crucial gap in India’s organic market. While most brands focused narrowly on “healthy” produce, Shayan saw an opportunity to merge wellness with indulgence.

“We didn’t just want to sell products; we wanted to sell a lifestyle,” Shayan remarked during the signing of the funding round.

Launched in July 2025 from Lucknow, Zaphira began as an organic farming venture. However, early experimentation through digital platforms such as Swiggy revealed a deeper consumer appetite. Curated offerings like Baklava Crystal Boxes, White Chocolate Laddus, and Power Seed gift sets quickly resonated with an affluent, experience-driven audience. Zaphira was no longer just a farm, it was becoming a luxury organic confectioner and lifestyle brand.

From Farm to Café: A Strategic Leap

The funding announcement comes alongside Zaphira’s decisive move into physical retail. On February 7, 2026, the company secured a prime lease for its first Flagship Café & Bakery in the heart of Lucknow. Designed as a proof-of-concept for the brand’s long-term vision, the café introduces consumers to the complete “Zaphira Experience.”

The space will feature a farm-to-fork menu crafted from Zaphira’s own organic produce, alongside retail shelves showcasing its signature gourmet gift collections. This vertical integration allows the brand to maintain quality control from cultivation to consumption, while delivering a refined, high-end dining and retail environment.

Luxury Wellness Takes Centre Stage

To mark its evolution into a consumer-facing luxury brand, Zaphira has also been announced as the Title Sponsor of Love Ambrosia 2026, Lucknow’s premier Paris-themed Valentine’s festival scheduled for February 14, 2026. The sponsorship signals a decisive brand statement.

“We are launching with a bang,” says Shayan. “Love Ambrosia is the perfect stage to introduce the new Zaphira, where organic purity meets premium indulgence.”

In a move that has already set the city buzzing, the brand is offering high-value prizes including fully sponsored trips to the Andaman Islands and premium travel vouchers, firmly positioning Zaphira within the aspirational lifestyle space.

Building India’s First Affordable-Luxury Organic Ecosystem

Zaphira’s differentiation lies in its tightly controlled, tech-enabled ecosystem. By combining organic farming, gourmet product innovation, hyperlocal delivery, and experiential hospitality, the brand bridges the gap between health-conscious consumption and luxury living. The founder’s background in technology has further enabled the creation of a “phygital” model, seamlessly integrating digital ordering with immersive offline experiences.

Investors backing the brand are not only betting on the organic trend, but on Shayan Abdul Jishan’s execution velocity and ability to scale complex operations across hospitality, retail, and supply chains.

Beyond Lucknow

With ₹65 Crores in fresh capital, Zaphira plans to expand its café and bakery format to metros such as Delhi and Mumbai, strengthen its farm-to-fork infrastructure, and build a robust direct-to-consumer platform for its premium gifting portfolio. The ambition is clear: to evolve from a Lucknow-based success story into a nationally recognised, and eventually global, luxury organic lifestyle brand.

As Zaphira Organic Farms steps into this new chapter, it represents more than a funding milestone. It signals a shift in how organic brands are built in India, where wellness is no longer just about health, but about aspiration, experience, and refined indulgence.
