Sumit Thakur, the Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, issued a press release detailing the arrangements for this special train, with the aim of accommodating the surge of cricket fans attending the much-anticipated match.

The train, known as Train No. 09013/09014, is scheduled to provide a convenient travel option for cricket aficionados. Here are the key details:

Train No. 09013: Departure from Mumbai Central

Departure Time: 21.30 hrs

Date: Friday, 13th October, 2023

Arrival at Ahmedabad: 05.30 hrs on the following day

Train No. 09014: Departure from Ahmedabad

Departure Time: 04.00 hrs

Date: Sunday, 15th October, 2023

Arrival at Mumbai Central: 12.10 hrs on the same day

The train route includes halts at prominent stations such as Dadar, Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Surat, and Vadodara Junction in both directions.

For the comfort and convenience of passengers, the train comprises various classes, including AC 2 – Tier, AC 3 – Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class coaches.

Bookings for Train No. 09013 and 09014 will commence on the 12th of October, 2023, and can be made at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) Counters and on the IRCTC website. It’s important to note that this train will run as a Special Train on a special fare basis.
