New Delhi (India): Prabhu Subramanian’s fresh from the oven book ‘The Shark and The Dolphins’ presents a grim but true-to-reality picture of the topsy-turvy journey of EV startups in India. But, instead of being a heavy data-filled Medium article, Prabhu decided to bring an uncanny take on it in the form of a fictional novel, ‘The Shark and The Dolphins’.

The idea for ‘The Shark and The Dolphins’ actually came from Prabhu’s personal experience of launching a startup in 2018. He was determined to establish his own electric vehicle charging station venture and conducted extensive research on batteries with manufacturers. When he delved deeper, he realized that the electric vehicle revolution alone couldn’t solve all the problems it claims to. That’s when the writer within him decided to create a compelling drama, blending technological challenges with the intricacies of building a startup.

‘The Shark and The Dolphins’ is not just any ordinary book. For youth in India who are focused on pursuing careers as entrepreneurs and want to innovate in the electric vehicle space, it is incredibly valuable. This book presents an engaging narrative that transcends the boundaries of fiction and delivers a novel and unusual perspective on reality.

One of the reasons why we need more works like ‘The Shark and The Dolphins’ is because it plays a crucial role in fostering innovation. The world of electric vehicles is rapidly evolving, and the need for innovative solutions is more pressing than ever.

This book showcases the power of thinking outside the box and pushing boundaries. It encourages young readers to challenge the status quo, explore new possibilities, and bring their own unique ideas to the table. By highlighting the importance of innovation, this book empowers India’s youth to become trailblazers in the field of EV entrepreneurship.

‘The Shark and The Dolphins’ serves as a powerful source of inspiration. Through the journey of Bharat, Aman, Vinay and their EV startup Bharat Kinetics, readers get a glimpse into the challenges, sacrifices, and triumphs that come with building a business from the ground up. This story resonates deeply with the aspirations of India’s youth, igniting their entrepreneurial spirit and fuelling their determination to pursue their dreams. It also fuels our youth’s fighting spirit with its accurate representation of the legal battle, which is both an eye opener and a constant source of motivation.

Furthermore, ‘The Shark and The Dolphins’ sheds light on the significance of teamwork and collaboration. In the story, Bharat, Aman,Vinay and their team face numerous obstacles and setbacks, but they overcome them by working together and leveraging each other’s strengths. This serves as a valuable lesson for young readers, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and the power of collective effort in achieving success.

Books like “The Shark and The Dolphins” are essential for India’s youth who are driven by their careers and aspire to innovate as entrepreneurs in the field of electric vehicles. This book’s ability to inspire, foster innovation, and promote teamwork makes it a must-read for anyone looking to make a difference in the world of EV entrepreneurship.

This book not only explores the difficulties entrepreneurs face but also delves into the technical aspects of startup culture. It’s a result of thorough research, dynamic storytelling, and a deep appreciation for engineers. Books like these are not just a blessing for the readers but also play a crucial role in putting India on the world map of dynamic and inspiring modern literature.
