The Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are two major themes that are very important in contemporary cultures. The Universal Civil Code (UCC) refers to a unified legal framework that regulates personal concerns such as marriage, divorce, inheritance, and adoption for all people, regardless of religious views. Its goal is to promote equality and consistency in civil legislation across religious and cultural lines.

Similarly, Artificial intellect is a fast evolving discipline that involves the creation of intelligent robots capable of executing activities that would normally need human intellect. AI has the potential to transform many areas of human existence, including healthcare, transportation, education, and entertainment. Ananya and Nihshank organised the National Legal Summit 2023, which was followed by an intensive National research paper championship in New Delhi.

Due to the sensitive and complicated nature of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), a dispute has erupted in India. The nation is marked by religious and cultural diversity, with many groups adhering to their own rules regarding marriage, divorce, inheritance, and other personal affairs. As a consequence, the issue has sparked heated debate and reflection among legislators, religious leaders, and the general public. However, as panellists at the national legal summit discussed, a law must be on the table for the conversation to continue and to assist us understand what the government intends. The hosts’ proposal for a sunset provision sparked intense debate over whether sunset clauses could be applied to a measure like that. The summit offered a healthy space for debate and cooperation on ideas, with varied views and legal experience on the table.

To address ethical quandaries, economical repercussions, safety issues, legal frameworks, societal acceptability, and global cooperation, it is critical to discuss the ramifications of AI. It permits long-term planning, responsible development, and the integration of artificial intelligence with social values, providing maximum benefits while minimising hazards for people and society. The conference proved its commitment to tackle one of the most serious and complicated concerns confronting the legal world today by devoting major attention to AI’s ramifications.

The in-depth debates on AI’s ethical, legal, and social aspects presented vital insights that will surely affect the legal profession’s future. As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to affect all sectors of society, the information acquired and ideas discussed at this summit will serve as a guiding light for legal practitioners and policymakers alike, equipping them to traverse the complexities of AI while upholding the ideals of justice and fairness.

Research paper presentation competitions are critical for stimulating academic growth and intellectual development among students and researchers. These competitions provide a platform for contestants to exhibit their in-depth analyses, innovative notions, and analytical ability to a bigger audience.

Furthermore, these competitions encourage healthy intellectual rivalry, motivating participants to study more about their subjects of interest and advance their expertise. These contests foster a culture of continuous learning and inquiry by recognising and rewarding research achievement, which benefits the greater academic community and stimulates the pursuit of important research topics. The National Research Paper Championship exceeded our expectations and went above and above to help the contestants throughout the process.
