From January 1st to January 6th, 2024, at the iconic Mahalaxmi Race course, we invite you to experience the enchanting world of equestrian polo. The team will compete for the Turf Games – Maharaj Prem Singh Trophy, a 6-goal tournament that promises world-class polo and an evening of sport, elegance, and luxury.
Famous for his extraordinary talent and contributions to the sport of Polo, the legendary Indian polo player Col. Maharaj Prem Singh (1915–2000) was born into a royal polo-playing family. He was essential in bringing polo back to India after WWII and was a vital figure in India’s victory in the Queen’s Cup in the UK. In 1961, he became the first polo player to get the renowned Arjuna Award.
