Surat (Gujarat) [India], March 27: A three-day Sanskrit Short Film Training Workshop was successfully organized by the Gujarat Rajya Sanskrit Board, Department of Education, Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, in collaboration with Sarvajanik University and Chunilal Gandhi Vidyabhavan, Surat, from 23rd to 25th March 2026 at Sarvajanik University, Surat.The workshop was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of Shri Himanjay Palliwal, Chairman, Gujarat Rajya Sanskrit Board (Chief Guest), Shri Shrish Deopujari, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, Sanskrit Bharati (Guest of Honour), and Shri Kailash H. Hakim, Social Worker and President, FOSTTA (Special Guest). The resource persons included Sanskar Desai, Dr Channabasavaswamy Hiremath, Vihang Mehta, Narayan Parvathy Parasuram, Dr Sandeep Joshi, Dr Anand Pandya, and Yuvraj Kumar.Participants from various parts of the country, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, and West Bengal, actively took part in practical sessions such as acting for camera, solo performance, scripting exercises, and film screening discussions.
