New Delhi [India], September 15: SIU Swiss International University, a part of the VBNN Smart Education Group, has now officially started admissions for the October 2026 intake. Future students can go for studying fully online, or they can attend classes at SIU’s international campuses in Switzerland, the UAE and Kyrgyzstan.
The launch of the new admissions cycle follows a landmark year for SIU, with the university earning recognition in several respected international rankings. These achievements reflect its continued commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and providing high-quality education to students from around the world.
SIU also got named by several independent ranking organizations, mainly because of its academic offerings, its global footprint, and its business education.
In the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2026, SIU ended up in Top 500 universities slot world wide. The whole ranking set out to judge 1,646 universities spanning 116 countries, and it focused on how much they contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while also factoring in academic and research performance. On top of all, SIU further strengthened its international reputation by securing 3rd place worldwide in the QRNW Global Ranking of Transnational Universities (GRTU) 2027. This particular ranking is meant to recognize universities that can provide good quality education across international borders, while still keeping a strong global academic footprint
