Surat : VNSGU Set to Embrace International Language Courses

Surat : The Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) is all set to start international language courses in Surat following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s advice during the inauguration of Surat Diamond Bourse (SDB).

During his inauguration of the Surat Diamond Bourse (SDB) and the airport terminal building, Modi highlighted the need for the city to equip its youth with international language skills to cater to the influx of global diamond buyers.

Dr. KN Chavda, the Vice-Chancellor of VNSGU, along with Registrar Dr. R. C. Gadhvi, swiftly convened an urgent meeting of the Academic Council and the Syndicate to deliberate on PM Modi’s proposal.
Sources close to the university revealed that while the idea of language courses had previously received approval in 2021, progress on its implementation had been sluggish. It took PM Modi’s explicit suggestion to reignite the university’s commitment to this initiative.
In response to the Prime Minister’s guidance, Dr. Chavda expressed, “PM Modi’s suggestion aligns perfectly with our vision of grooming well-rounded graduates ready to excel on the global stage. We aim to equip our students with linguistic proficiency to engage confidently with international visitors, fostering opportunities for them in the global marketplace.”
