Surat, Gujarat: In a heartfelt display of generosity, Youth for Gujarat President and Gujarat State Football Association Vice President Jignesh Patil celebrated his 38th birthday not with grandeur but with service. Instead of lavish parties, he chose to donate essential items to the needy at the New Civil Hospital. His contributions included a ₹2 lakh fetal medicine kit, school kits for 12 hemophilic children, 40 baby kits for newborns, and sarees for 111 sanitation workers.

A Birthday with a Purpose

Speaking on the occasion, Jignesh Patil emphasized the importance of helping the underprivileged, stating,

“Poor and middle-class families come to the Civil Hospital for treatment. Instead of celebrating my birthday in luxury, I find true joy in serving them. Helping the needy is the real meaning of celebration.”

His commitment to public welfare is not limited to birthdays. Under his leadership, the Youth for Gujarat team has been consistently donating blood for accident victims, COVID-19 patients, and those in emergency situations. The team regularly organizes blood donation camps, ensuring help reaches those in need.

Fetal Medicine Kit: A Lifesaving Gift

One of the key highlights of this year’s celebration was the donation of a fetal medicine kit, which will enhance prenatal care for expecting mothers. Dr. Binodini Mahendrasinh Chauhan, Fetal Medicine Consultant at Civil Hospital, explained the significance of this donation:“This kit will allow us to detect brain, intestinal, and chromosomal defects in the fetus early on, enabling quicker treatment. It will be a blessing for pregnant women relying on Civil Hospital for care.”
