Surat to Host Mega Textile Parva 2.0 from Dec 1 at Samriddhi Building

SGCCI, GFRRC and MANTRA unite to bring top industry experts for an eight-day knowledge festival on India’s textile future, global markets, sustainability and Surat’s emerging leadership.

Surat | Gujarat — The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI),  Global Fabric Resource and Research Center and The Main Made Textile Research Association (MANTRA)  have jointly organised a mega Textile Parva 2.0 at Samriddhi Building, Makkaipul, Nanpura, Surat starting from December 1.

The purpose of this festival is to draw everyone’s attention to the emerging new horizons of the textile industry. The best speakers from Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Surat have been invited to this festival, organized with the aim that no industrialist of South Gujarat remains deprived of the current trends.

On December 1, 2025, Ashwin Chandran, Chairman, Confederation of Textile Industries, New Delhi will address on the topic of “Strategies for Enhancing Global Presence by MSME (in MMF Segment).

On December 2, 2025, Dharmeshbhai Patel, Director, Eagle Group will highlight the topic of Sustainability in Modern Weaving: Advancing Eco-Friendly Textiles through Viscose Yarn.

On December 3, 2025, the expert speaker on the topic of Opportunities in the International Market, Dr. Jagat Shah (from Ahmedabad), will be present.

On December 4, 2025, Deepak Sheta will present his success story.

On December 5, 2025, Dr. Ashwin Thakkar, a leading figure of Atira (Ahmedabad), will deliver an expert talk on the topic of Developed India @ 2047: The Role of India’s Textile Industries.

On December 6, 2025,  S. P. Verma, Advisor, Textile Commissioner’s Office, Ahmedabad, will enlighten everyone on the topic of Future of India’s Textile Policy and Surat’s Role in the Global Value Chain.

On December 8, 2025,  Santosh, Chairman, Clothing Manufacturers Association of India, Mumbai, will speak on the topic of Surat Textile Industry 2.0 Transforming Surat from a Fabric Hub to a Global Garment Manufacturing Hub. Kataria and mentor Shri Rahul Mehta of the same organization will provide guidance.

All these programs will be free for the public.
