Surat : First Rage Room Opens, Offering Stress Relief Through Destruction
The Rage Room in Surat offers various packages to cater to different preferences and budgets, with prices ranging from an affordable ₹9 to ₹1500.
SURAT, GUJARAT : In a unique venture marking a first in Gujarat, a Rage Room has opened its doors in the bustling Vesu area of the city. Founded by Ananya Shetty, the Rage Room provides a novel outlet for individuals to release pent-up stress and frustration by smashing glassware and electronic items.
Equipped with baseball bats and hammers, participants can vent their emotions by breaking items ranging from cups and glasses to bottles, tube lights, LCD screens, and laptops. The facility, inspired by similar establishments in Western countries, aims to offer a therapeutic escape from stress and anger in a safe and controlled environment.
“We noticed a growing need for unconventional stress-relief methods in today’s fast-paced world,” stated Ananya Shetty, the brain behind the concept. “The Rage Room provides a safe space for individuals to let off steam and unwind through controlled destruction.”
The Rage Room offers various packages to cater to different preferences and budgets, with prices ranging from an affordable ₹9 to ₹1500. Additionally, plans are underway to introduce a specialized “breakup package,” tailored to individuals seeking catharsis after relationship woes.
Before entering the Rage Room, participants are required to fill out a consent form and undergo a safety briefing. They are then provided with protective gear, including a face shield, helmet, and sports shoes, to ensure their safety during the experience.
“We prioritize the safety and well-being of our participants above all else,” emphasized Shetty. “Our stringent safety measures and controlled environment ensure that individuals can unleash their emotions without any risk of harm.”
