Surat : Akhsah Sorens Parmar, a young sensation from Surat, has etched her name in the annals of cricketing history by delivering a breathtaking performance in her debut match at the prestigious Reliance G-1 Cup Under-15 Inter-State Women’s Cricket Tournament. The thirteen-year-old prodigy showcased her mettle by scoring an unbeaten 154 off just 115 balls against Goa, setting a remarkable record that reverberated across the cricketing fraternity.

At the age of eight, she ventured into cricket, training rigorously at the KAPS Academy under coach Vikas Wadiwala.

At just twelve years old, Parmar was selected as a prospective cricketer for the GCA Gujarat Cricket Association Under-19 team, marking a significant milestone in her burgeoning career. Now, at thirteen-and-a-half, she has earned a spot in the GCA Under-15 squad, amplifying her prowess on the cricket pitch.

Recently participating in a nine-day intensive training camp in Ahmedabad, Parmar caught the attention of selectors with her stellar performances, contributing significantly to Gujarat’s triumph in the Reliance G-1 Inter-State Women’s Cricket Tournament.

Despite her rigorous cricketing schedule, Parmar maintains a delicate balance between her passion for the sport, academics, music, and reading. Her relentless dedication sees her devote fourteen to fifteen hours daily, nurturing her multifaceted interests while nurturing her dream of representing India in the ICC Women’s T-20 World Cup.
