SGCCI to Launch Business Counselling Centre in Surat

Surat, Gujarat – The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) has taken an important decision to start a counselling centre to guide professionals in Surat and South Gujarat.

Experienced experts in the fields of export-import, MSME, start-up, loan-subsidy, textile and diamond will provide guidance to the professionals. 

SGCCI president Nikhil Madrasi said that the counselling centre will be inaugurated at Samruddhi bhavan at Nanpura on July 16. This centre will guide small to medium-sized entrepreneurs and professionals associated with industry and business and solve their small and big problems. SGCCI always takes initiatives for the all-round development of the industry, under which this new initiative will be started. 

Madrasi said that the  counseling center will provide free guidance by experts from various fields, especially export-import, MSME, start-up, revenue related issues, loan and subsidy schemes as well as important services like textile and diamond clinics. The main objective of the chamber is to provide appropriate guidance, information and policy understanding to the industrialists through this counseling center, so that they can make further progress in their industry.

This counseling center will provide a platform for small traders associated with the industry, start-up founders starting new industries and all those in need of policy guidance. The chamber has expressed the hope that this new initiative will give further impetus to the industrial development of Surat and the entire South Gujarat.

Entrepreneurs will be guided by Amit Mulani for export-import, CA Manish Bajrang for MSME, CA Mayank Desai for start-up, Advocate  Ajay Mehta for revenue, CA Rajiv Kapasiawala for loan and subsidy, former president of SGCCI Ashish Gujarati for textiles and Jilpaben Seth for diamond.

Special clinic support will be held for the main industrial sectors of Surat like textile and diamond, where industry experts will provide clear guidance to entrepreneurs. Guidance will be available on business model, registration, loan, technical assistance for start-ups and youth. Experts will also provide guidance on understanding the documents required for loan or subsidy, application process etc.

The Counseling Center will also coordinate with various government departments, banks and industrial associations to provide necessary information to the industrialists. Apart from this, efforts will also be made to provide detailed information to the industrialists by organizing short-term training or workshops on various topics from time to time.
