SGCCI, AIAI Sign MoU to Boost SMEs and MSMEs

Surat : The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI)  and the All India Association of Industry (AIAI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the purpose of promoting Small (SMEs) and Medium Industries (MSMEs).

SGCCI president Vijay Mewawala and Consulate of Uzbekistan in Mumbai and President of AIAI  Vijay Kalantri signed the MoU.

Vijay Mewawala said that small and medium industries make an important contribution to the country’s economy and also provide employment opportunities. Small and medium industries in India provide employment to 480 million people. In such a situation, various steps are being taken by the government to encourage them and enable them to face the challenges, but everyone needs to work together to push the industry forward.

Vijay Kalantri while giving information said that All India Association of Industries (AIAI), representing this important sector, supports more than 50,000 industries, 70% of whose members are SMEs. AIAI’s mission is to build bridges to prosperity through industry, helping SMEs navigate the challenges of globalisation, mergers and takeovers.

Meanwhile they decided to work together in all fields and support every exhibition and events on the basis of investment, technology transfer, joint ventures and cooperation and mutual benefit on the basis of equality.

On this occasion, Vice President of SGCCI. Nikhil Madrasi, former President  Ramesh Vaghasia, Honorary Treasurer Mrunal Shukla and Group Chairman Dr. Anil Sarawagi were present.
