The announcement was made by his wife, Rivaba Jadeja, who is a BJP MLA representing the Jamnagar North constituency. Rivaba shared the news on social media, revealing that Jadeja had taken up BJP membership as part of the party’s ongoing National Membership Campaign.

Jadeja, known for his all-round prowess on the cricket field, recently announced his retirement from T20 International cricket following the 2024 T20 World Cup.
