Ram Temple Consecration : Bharat Diamond Bourse Shines in a Sea of Devotion

Mumbai : The Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB), the global epicenter of diamond trading, witnessed an unparalleled spectacle as it transformed into a realm of devotion and festivity during the Pran Pratishtha of Bhagwan Shree Ram. The grandeur of the event surpassed all expectations, turning the BDB complex into an extraordinary sea of celebration.

From the crackling excitement in the morning air to the luminous spectacle as night fell, the entire BDB complex pulsated with an energy unlike anything experienced before. Instead of converging in their offices, Diamond Merchants and staff eagerly gathered in the BDB grounds, drawn to the grand procession that unfolded. Led by the in-house Band of BDB Security and resonant chants of “JAI SHREE RAM,” the procession weaved through the complex, infusing every corner with an undeniable vibrancy.

The Pran Pratishtha held immense significance not only for the BDB’s primarily Jain and Hindu community but resonated as a national festival. Members expressed profound gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for realizing a 500-year-old dream, declaring the occasion as a celebration that unites the nation under the sacred banner of ‘Jai Shree Ram.’ Ayodhya’s spiritual importance for Jains, as the birthplace of five Tirthankar Gods, added an extra layer of significance.

Sweetening the festivities was a colossal prasad offering of 1800 kg ladoos, distributed throughout the complex, enveloping every office and member in the aroma of sweetness. The entire BDB complex underwent a transformation into a temple-themed wonderland, adorned with traditional motifs and vibrant colors. Glittering diyas illuminated every office, and as night descended, the Bourse became a luminous spectacle with glorifying LED lights bathing the buildings in a soft radiance.

Esteemed guests, including Mehul Shah, Vice President of Bharat Diamond Bourse, and distinguished members of the Board of Directors, added to the grandeur of the event. Their presence, including Mr. Jay Parikh, Mr. Kiran Gandhi, Mr. Paresh Mehta, Mrs. Bharati Mehta, Mr. Surendra Dassani, Mahesh Vaghani, Rohit Shah, Jagdish Somani, Lalit Seth, and Prakash C.
