Rahul Gandhi Warns of BJP Links Within Congress, Calls for Party Overhaul

“In Congress, we can observe two distinct categories of leaders: those who engage with the public and those who distance themselves from it.  I must recognize these two groups and take appropriate action.  There exists a formidable figure within Congress, yet he is constrained by significant limitations from behind.   Should it become necessary to eliminate those disloyal to the party, we will take action.  Even if we need to let go of 20-40 individuals, there are no objections; the leadership in Congress is abundant” said Gandhi while addressing Congress workers in Ahmedabad.

Ahmedabad : Leader of Opposition in the Parliament and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi claimed that certain leaders within the Congress party have ties to the BJP.

He advised the workers against joining the party solely for the sake of gaining power.  Set aside discussions of winning or losing; the focus should be on the essence of Congress.

Rahul Gandhi, a prominent figure in Congress, is currently visiting Gujarat.  Following Rahul Gandhi’s meeting, Gujarat co-incharge Suhasini Yadav made a statement declaring that ‘we will meet the challenge posed by Rahul Gandhi’.  She added that Rahul Gandhi has been receiving input from all quarters.  Significant conversations took place during the gathering with the leaders and workers.  During the meeting, Congress outlined a strategy for transforming the future landscape in Gujarat Congress.  Friday’s gathering was focused on developing the Congress strategy internally.

Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Gujarat appears to focus on crafting a strategy for the forthcoming assembly elections.  Congress is set to engage with the community as it prepares for the 2027 elections.  During the gathering in Ahmedabad, the voices of MLAs, presidents, leaders, and workers were prominently featured.  During the meeting, Rahul Gandhi gathered input from all attendees.  During the meeting, Rahul Gandhi criticized the disloyal members of his party.

Rahul nearly outlined a detailed explanation for the reasons behind the people’s shift away from the Congress in Gujarat and suggested potential solutions.  He emphasized that failing to heed the people’s voice and neglecting our responsibilities will hinder our chances of winning the elections.  In addition to this, he also addressed the need to clearly guide the Congress leaders, who have been split into factions for over thirty years.

During this two-day tour, Rahul Gandhi has highlighted the vulnerabilities within the entire Congress party.  Following the forthcoming session scheduled for April 8 and 9, it appears that he is poised to transform the Congress.  Following a month of discussions, steps have been taken to guide the leaders who engaged with the BJP but lacked a solid foundation.
