Surat : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making another visit to Gujarat.  On Friday morning, PM Modi is set to arrive at Surat airport before heading to the union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli (DNH). There, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several projects valued at Rs 2587 crore, which includes the Namo Hospital in Silvassa.

The Prime Minister has made his fourth trip to Dadra Nagar Haveli in the past decade.  This small Union Territory has achieved significant recognition on a national scale for the first time during his tenure.  Following the inauguration of Namo Hospital, the Prime Minister is set to conduct a road show and speak to the audience.  The administration of Dadra Nagar Haveli has completed all necessary arrangements for the Prime Minister’s visit.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in the ‘Surat Food Security Promotion Campaign’ event taking place in Surat on Friday evening.   Following that, he will embark on a 3 km road show to Nilgiri Ground.  Preparations are being wrapped up at all levels for PM Modi’s road show, focusing on roads, dividers, and lighting enhancements.  Prior to that, the Municipal Commissioner, Police Commissioner, District Collector, District Development Officer, Mayor of Surat city, along with other officials, conducted an inspection of PM Modi’s route.

A review meeting took place, chaired by Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi and Minister of State for Forest Mukesh Patel.  The Prime Minister will distribute free food grains to over 2 lakh beneficiaries in Surat city-district at Nilgiri grounds in Limbayat under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.

The review covered all aspects of the program, including bus routes, the control room, parking, water, and other facilities.  PM Modi is set to distribute food grains to 50,000 families, including those who are poor, widowed, disabled, and elderly beneficiaries.  The meeting was attended by the MP, Mayor, MLA, Collector, Police Commissioner, and various officials from the administrative system.

PM Modi is set to spend the night at the Surat circuit house.

On Friday evening, PM Modi is set to cover a distance of 14 kilometers, with plans to depart for Navsari on Saturday morning.
