From a Single Idea to an Entertainment Empire Every big story has a small beginning, and Verma’s began with a visit to an amusement park. That single experience sparked an idea: families needed spaces where they could disconnect from routine and reconnect with each other. In 2003, that idea took corporate shape as B.P. Sons Fun & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., laying the foundation for what would become one of North India’s most recognizable entertainment brands — Dreamworld. Dreamworld Resort: India’s First Indoor Water Park Concept Verma’s breakthrough moment arrived with Dreamworld Resort, Lucknow, a sprawling 20-acre property that introduced India to the concept of an indoor water park. The road to opening in 2005 wasn’t smooth — land acquisition hurdles and financial approvals tested his resolve — but persistence won out. Today, Dreamworld Resort remains a go-to summer destination for families across North India, proof that bold ideas, backed by conviction, can reshape an industry. Scaling Up: Dreamworld Entertainment City Not one to rest on early success, Verma expanded his vision with Dreamworld Entertainment City, an integrated 20-acre entertainment destination on Omaxe Rai Bareilly Road, Lucknow. Featuring an Adventure Zone, Zip Line, Dino Valley, ATV Bikes, Go-Karts, and dedicated family recreation spaces, the property signals a shift away from traditional amusement parks toward holistic, experience-led destinations — a model now being replicated across India’s leisure industry. Strategic Partnerships and a Diversified Business Portfolio Beyond standalone parks, Verma has forged collaborations with leading real estate groups to bring mall-based entertainment zones, themed attractions, and family recreation concepts to premium urban locations — extending the Dreamworld experience into everyday city life. His entrepreneurial instincts haven’t stopped at entertainment. Verma has diversified into film production (MMV Productions), fisheries and aquaculture, water adventure sports, facility management, and food processing — building what he describes as “sustainable, multi-sector growth platforms.” This diversification reflects a founder who understands that longevity in business comes from balancing passion projects with resilient, scalable verticals. Entering Luxury Hospitality In a significant new chapter, Verma is stepping into premium hospitality with the launch of Hotel Celestial Manor and The Arcadium Central in Lucknow — a large-scale destination designed to deliver premium accommodation, fine dining, and grand event experiences. The move positions him as a serious player strengthening Lucknow’s hospitality ecosystem while fueling the city’s growing tourism potential. Industry Leadership and National Recognition Verma’s influence extends well beyond his own ventures. He serves as Director at the Indian Amusement Park Industries Association (IAAPI), Chairman of IAAPI’s Uttar Pradesh Membership Committee, and State President of the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DICCI) — roles that reflect his commitment to industry growth and grassroots entrepreneurship promotion. He has also represented Indian business interests at international forums across Europe and Asia.
