Ahmedabad: Sundays are often like the mini vacations of the week when you want to lounge around spending time at leisure with loved ones or in solitude but all at leisure! Taking forward its legacy of curating bespoke hospitality experiences for its discerning patrons from Ahmedabad and across the world, ITC Narmada, a Luxury Collection Hotel, announced the launch of ‘52 Sundays’. As part of the initiative, the hotel will offer a specially curated buffet of culinary delights, every Sunday at its signature all-day diner, Adalaj Pavilion.

Every week, the theme will be a unique one, around which ITC’s chefs will handpick and curate their Sunday Brunch menu. The maiden buffet as part of this initiative will be launched on April 7 and will be themed on ‘Local Love’, bringing you some of the most loved preparations, perfected and savoured over generations in the state of Gujarat.

Patrons visiting ITC Narmada will be able to indulge in some of the traditional preparations native to Gujarat and made with completely authentic ingredients. Some of the key offerings include Sev Muth no Bhaat, Rajwadi Khichdi, Gujarati Dal, Bataka Vatana nu Shaak, Undhiyu and Til-Seeng Bhindi, among others. Every dish will be carefully prepared with perfected recipes, to whip up locally sourced ingredients to offer the patrons an authentic and flavourful blend. The rich palette will come with an assortment of breads, rice-based preparations, and local desserts too, making a perfect Sunday brunch.

Elaborating upon the initiative, Mr Keenan McKenzie, general manager, ITC Narmada, said, “Sundays behold a different meaning for different people, with leisure being a primary agenda of spending the day, whether in solitude or in company of loved ones. As people take a break from their busy routine, flavourful food rooted in local culture is perhaps the best way of unwinding. With this idea, our team at ITC Narmada implemented this unique concept of 52 Sundays. Blending food with the flavour of the season – be it festivities, special days or simply enjoying the weather in the city, our culinary experts have selected handpicked gastronomic delight to add to the laid-back and slow vibe of a Sunday.”

As part of the initiative, ITC Narmada’s chefs have planned the Sunday calendar for April and more will soon follow. The offerings will include a ‘Shubho Nabobarsho Brunch’ on April 14 to mark the celebrations of Bengali New Year. This will be followed by the ‘Earth Day Brunch’ on April 21, wherein ITC’s kitchens will whip up delicious meals with seasonal and local produce. The last Sunday of April on the 28th will be a special one with ‘Rock n’ Roll Brunch’, wherein ITC’s chefs will literally make the patrons’ taste buds dance in joy and a burst of flavours.
