Gujarat : 15-Foot Tall Rudraksha Shivlinga to Mesmerize Devotees During Mahashivratri in Valsad

Surat : Devotees prepare to be mesmerized and blessed by a towering 15-foot Shivlinga meticulously crafted from 11 lakh (1.1 million) rudraksha beads, as part of the upcoming Mahashivratri celebrations in Dulsad, Valsad taluka. The grand event, scheduled between March 2nd and 8th, promises a week of divine and cultural programs, led by renowned Shiva Kathakar and Limca Book of Records holder, Pujya Batukbhai Vyas.

The week-long celebration offers a diverse range of programs for devotees seeking spiritual solace and cultural engagement. The highlight undoubtedly remains the “Viraat Rudraksha Shivlinga Darshan – Abhishek,” where devotees can participate in the holy abhishek (ritualistic bathing) of the 11 lakh rudraksha Shivlinga. Additionally, Pujya Vyas will enthrall audiences with his captivating “Shiva Katha,” narrating tales from the Shiva Mahapurana.
The schedule boasts other captivating events, including the powerful “Sahastrachandi Mahayagna” (grand fire sacrifice) led by Bhagwati Jagdamba, the heart-warming “Dikri Devo Bhava: 108 Kunwarika Poojan” (worship ceremony by 108 young girls), and the spiritually uplifting “Shiva Mahimna: Stotrapath” (recitation of hymns dedicated to Lord Shiva).
