For Manjunatha Rangaraju, education has always been larger than classrooms, examinations, and institutional rankings. Across his journey as an educator, strategist, consultant, cultural organiser, and entrepreneur, he has consistently worked towards building ecosystems where learning intersects with technology, creativity, public engagement, and community development.
Currently associated with multiple educational and developmental initiatives across India and Africa, Manjunatha’s work spans school leadership, AI-driven education, startup mentoring, filmmaking, youth engagement, and cultural preservation. His ability to move seamlessly between academic administration and large-scale ecosystem building has made him a distinctive voice in contemporary education leadership.
As Director at the Bapuji Educational Association, he oversees institutions across CBSE, Cambridge, and Pre-University education while simultaneously contributing to the design and development of upcoming educational institutions in Karnataka and Kenya. His work in these projects focuses on creating future-ready schools that integrate experiential learning, vocational exposure, technology infrastructure, and interdisciplinary education into everyday learning environments.
Beyond traditional academics, Manjunatha is actively involved in setting up AI hubs in Davanagere with the vision of exposing students and young professionals to emerging technologies, innovation, and research-led learning. He has also been mentoring startups in the ed-tech sector, helping founders navigate curriculum innovation, institutional scaling, technology implementation, and student engagement models.
His professional journey also includes leadership and advisory associations with organizations such as K2, Yuvipep, and 8th Frame, where he has contributed to educational strategy, youth empowerment initiatives, and creative collaborations that bridge learning with media and communication.
One of the lesser-known but significant aspects of his journey has been his contribution to cinema and creative storytelling. Manjunatha produced a commercial feature film primarily aimed at nurturing and showcasing young talent, with several students actively participating in the production process. His association with the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce and film producers’ networks further strengthened his engagement with creative industries, allowing him to create opportunities for aspiring artists and performers emerging from educational institutions.
His involvement in public and cultural life extends far beyond academics and cinema. As Chairperson of the Davanagere chapter of SPIC MACAY, he has actively promoted Indian classical arts, heritage, and cultural literacy among younger generations. He has also supported multiple NGOs and youth-centered community initiatives focused on social development and student empowerment.
Temple and spiritual service have remained an equally important dimension of his work. From anchoring devotional programs at Tirumala on SVBC television to supporting temple-centered cultural activities and community gatherings, Manjunatha has consistently used public platforms to connect culture, service, and education.
Over the years, he has organized TEDx events, Model United Nations conferences, mega sports tournaments, cultural festivals, and interdisciplinary student platforms that encourage leadership and independent thinking. His approach reflects a larger belief — that institutions should not merely produce graduates, but create socially aware, culturally rooted, and future-ready individuals.
