Surat : Seed funding round leader We Founder Circle contributed $200,000 to Evify, a tech-enabled logistics company. Well-known angel investors such as Apurva Arora, Jayesh Gulabani, and Rajeev Mehta also participated in the round. As of now, the company has raised $300,000 from a wide range of investors.

The money raised from this round of financing will be used primarily to expand the business’s current operations in Ahmedabad. Pragya Mittal, Evify’s co-founder and chief marketing officer, said that some of the newly raised capital would be used to create a full stack technology platform that would allow the company to scale across multiple geographies.

This is a fantastic way for the company’s fiscal year to wrap up. According to Evify  co-founder and CEO Devrishi Arora, “we have been working on adding technological advancements to our delivery operations through the use of telematics device to create a tech enabled fleet management system that will revolutionize the unorganized logistics market.”

By 2024’s end, EVIFY hopes to have successfully deployed a fleet of 2,000 vehicles in the cities of Surat, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Rajkot.

Evify is the country’s first carbon-negative EV fleet owner and the largest electric vehicle (EV) fleet service provider in Gujarat. Soon, the business will also begin producing carbon credits.

When delivering packages, Evify only uses EVs. The goal is to reduce emissions from the final mile of delivery in all of India’s major Tier II cities. For over a year, they’ve been actively serving major e-commerce players like Swiggy, Zomato, Bluedart, Big Basket, Flipkart, and Ecom- Express out of their Surat location. Over 300,000 green shipments and over 16,66,000 green kilometers have been recorded on the platform as of February 2023.

The company has recently started its operations in Ahmedabad with Big basket and Flipkart. All other clients are in the pipeline with whom the deployment is planned in the coming months.
