Patil Unitech Society, Pune, hosted an insightful Academia–Industry Interaction at its School of Pharmacy and Research (SPR) with distinguished guest Mr. Abhay Kumar Srivastava, Senior President – Operations, Mankind Pharma Ltd. With a long history of academic distinction, innovation, and industry integration, DPGU School of Pharmacy and Research is acknowledged as a leading pharmacy education school. During the interaction, Mr. Srivastava shared valuable insights on faculty development, industry-driven skill upgrading, curricular innovation, and the expanding role of AI in the pharmaceutical industry. Opportunities for cooperative research, internships, certification courses, and increased industry involvement were all discussed as ways to close the gap between academic knowledge and business demands.
