Ahmedabad, Gujarat – The Chiripal Group, in collaboration with Radio Mirchi, launched the 4th edition of the Chiripal Mirchi Green Yodha Plantation Drive at GMDC Grounds near Alpha One Mall, reaffirming their long-standing commitment to environmental sustainability.
Led by RJ Kavya from Radio Mirchi, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Chiripal Group employees and was graced by Defence PRO Wing Commander A.K. Tiwari, who applauded the initiative and encouraged citizens to take environmental responsibility seriously.
“Planting a tree is planting hope for future generations. Campaigns like these play a vital role in creating a greener and healthier tomorrow,” said Wing Commander Tiwari.
The Green Yodha initiative, now in its fourth year, has already resulted in the plantation of over 1,50,000 trees across Ahmedabad, transforming it into a flagship green movement in the city. The drive has brought together corporates, students, and community groups under a shared mission to “Think Green, Act Green, Live Green.”
“We started with a vision, and now it’s a full-fledged movement. Every tree we plant is a step toward a better tomorrow,” said a Chiripal Group spokesperson.
This annual plantation drive is a key part of Chiripal Group’s CSR and sustainability initiatives, reflecting their proactive role in combating climate change and fostering environmental awareness among the public.
The event closed with a pledge to continue planting and nurturing trees across Ahmedabad in the years to come.
