Mumbai :  The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park Art Festival – 2024 concluded under Shri Aditya Thackeray’s imaginative leadership and his principles in Mumbai. The festival was inaugurated by Thackeray on January 11.

The third annual ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park Art Festival’ captured Mumbai’s creative spirits and bring together a unique confluence of artistic energy from hundreds of renowned artists. This spectacular event from January 11 to January 14, 2024, was a major celebration of Marathi culture held in the famed ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park’ and organised by the ‘Vedh’ social organisation.

The ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park Art Festival’ was founded on the initiative of Shiv Sena politician, MLA, and Yuva Sena head Shri. Aditya Thackeray and was successfully held in 2022 and 2023. This year’s event, themed ‘Maaher of Marathi Culture’, greeted 2024 with unequalled excitement. The celebration was held in the iconic ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park, Dadar’ from January 11 to January 14, 2024. Entry to the event was free.

Art, sports, culture, and tradition-filled celebration drew a lot of attention from art fans in Mumbai. The display of unique and exclusive paintings of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj from all over the globe, the golden statue of the Maharaj, and the grand parade to behold the royal sword were among the highlights.

‘Kids Carnival’ enhanced the lovely experience with sea-facing booths, a range of games and key instructive and entertaining activities.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s ‘Mumbai Food Fest’ at the Sports Complex was a sensory experience, with gastronomic pleasures, imaginative artworks, mesmerising music, and an inter-collegiate folk-dance competition, among other attractions. Food stalls from popular companies such as Pizza Hut, Wow Momos, Apsara Ice Creams, and Society Tea helped to create unforgettable moments during the art event. These companies are well-known for their high-quality and diversified culinary offerings, which appeal to a broad spectrum of tastes and inclinations.

The nights were packed with cultural performances by famous artists, including Sandeep Khare and Salil Kulkarni, who delivered their poetry works as part of the show ‘Ayushyavar Bolu Kahi.’ This poignant recital of poetry has been an evergreen. success for the past 20 years, and was scheduled on January 12, 2024.
