New Delhi [India], June 26: Bharat Buildcon 2026 – One Nation, One Expo – concluded successfully at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi, emerging as India’s largest integrated business platform for the building materials, construction and infrastructure industry. Over four days, the exhibition facilitated business worth more than ₹400 crore, generated over 8,000 high-value business leads, and attracted more than 40,000 visitors, including manufacturers, exporters, architects, developers, contractors, policymakers, distributors and global sourcing professionals. The inaugural edition witnessed participation from buyers and delegates representing over 90 countries and more than 100 Indian cities, creating one of the country’s largest international networking platforms for the construction and building materials ecosystem. More than 24 industry categories were represented, including ceramics, tiles, sanitaryware, bathware, hardware, cement, steel, plywood, laminates, paints, construction chemicals, electricals, machinery, furniture, natural stone and smart building technologies. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs, in the presence of Shri Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & Information Technology, and Shri Parshottam Rupala, Member of Parliament. On the third day, the event received a major boost with the visit of Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, who remarked that the visitor turnout during the first two days had already surpassed the footfall witnessed during the complete duration of many comparable industry exhibitions. A key strength of Bharat Buildcon 2026 was its ability to connect Indian manufacturers directly with international buyers. Thousands of structured buyer-seller meetings, export discussions and strategic business interactions took place throughout the exhibition, enabling companies—particularly MSMEs—to explore new global markets and strengthen export partnerships. The exhibition also witnessed active participation from key government institutions including the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Government e-Marketplace (GeM), Department of Commerce, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, CAPEXIL and several MSME stakeholders. Industry conferences on the future of the real estate sector, global trade opportunities and sustainable infrastructure further strengthened knowledge sharing between policymakers, industry leaders and businesses. India’s construction sector currently contributes nearly 9% of the country’s GDP, supports more than 51 million jobs, and is expected to cross USD 1 trillion over the next decade, driven by investments in housing, infrastructure, industrial corridors, logistics parks, smart cities and urban development. Bharat Buildcon reflected this growth story by bringing together every stakeholder across the construction value chain under one roof. Speaking on the success of the exhibition, Mr. Vishal Acharya, Director, Bharat Buildcon, said “Bharat Buildcon has successfully demonstrated the growing global confidence in India’s manufacturing capabilities. Beyond the business generated during the exhibition, one of our biggest achievements has been creating meaningful collaboration between government departments, exporters, manufacturers and international buyers. The response validates the need for a unified platform that strengthens exports, promotes innovation and positions India as a preferred global sourcing destination.” Mr. Jitendra Kathiriya, Director, Bharat Buildcon, said “The participation from more than 100 Indian cities reflects the strength and diversity of India’s building materials industry. The exhibition has enabled companies of every size—from MSMEs to leading manufacturers—to showcase their capabilities, establish valuable business relationships and access new domestic and international markets. The commercial opportunities created during these four days will continue generating value long after the exhibition concludes.” Highlighting the export potential, Mr. Nilesh Jetpariya, Chairman, CAPEXIL, said “Generating business worth over ₹400 crore and thousands of qualified business leads during the exhibition reflects the growing competitiveness of Indian manufacturers. Bharat Buildcon has created a strong platform for exporters to connect directly with global buyers, expand into new markets and contribute towards India’s vision of becoming a global manufacturing and export powerhouse.” Sharing the roadmap for future editions, Mr. Vijay Aghara, Director, Bharat Buildcon, said “The response has exceeded our expectations. More than 8,000 qualified business leads generated during the exhibition are expected to convert into substantial commercial partnerships over the coming months. Our vision is to make Bharat Buildcon one of the world’s leading exhibitions for building materials, construction technologies and infrastructure by expanding international participation, introducing new industry verticals and creating greater value for exhibitors and buyers.” Throughout the four-day exhibition, exhibitors reported strong buyer engagement, export enquiries, dealership discussions, technology collaborations and procurement opportunities across multiple product categories. The event also created significant economic activity for sectors such as hospitality, logistics, transportation and business services, reinforcing the multiplier impact of large-format trade exhibitions. With its successful inaugural edition, Bharat Buildcon has established itself as a landmark industry platform supporting the Government of India’s vision of Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat and export-led manufacturing growth. By connecting Indian manufacturers with global markets and fostering collaboration across the construction ecosystem, the exhibition has laid the foundation for becoming one of Asia’s most influential trade platforms for the building materials and infrastructure sectors.
