Avani Institute of Design Hosts the 66th ZNC Meeting

Kozhikode : The Avani Institute of Design hosted and successfully wrapped up the 66th Zonal NASA Committee meeting, which was attended by representatives from many different universities. The 15th-16th of July 2023 event gave budding architects and designers a chance to show off their work and network with like-minded individuals.

Ar. Tony Joseph, Chairman, and Principal of Avani Institute of Design, together with Ar. Vivek PP, Governing Council Member, kicked off the Zonal NASA meeting. The institution reached a major milestone in its efforts to promote architectural quality and cultivate emerging talents in the design community with this event.

The Chairman and Principal of Avani Institute of Design, Ar. Tony Joseph, was kind enough to say, “We are thrilled to have successfully hosted the 66th Zonal NASA conference. It was inspiring to see the level of commitment and excitement shown by the participating schools and kids. This celebration exemplifies the values of teamwork and creativity that we promote at Avani Institute of Design.

Mani Pretham Reddy, Nasa’s zonal president, reflected on her time at Avani Institute of Design, saying, “The 66th Zonal NASA conference at Avani Institute of Design was a fantastic experience. Volunteers’ friendliness and hard work made us feel welcome and at ease during the whole affair. The gathering was made all the more enjoyable by their extraordinary hospitality and the beautiful setting of the campus. Without a doubt, Avani Institute of Design has established a new benchmark for the successful execution of such joint endeavours.

According to Nasa’s National Treasurer Harshawardhan Burrande: “Avani Institute of Design has always been a fantastic place for aspiring architects and designers to learn and grow. They demonstrated their dedication to encouraging student ingenuity and originality during the 66th ZNC Meeting. It was genuinely fascinating to see the dynamic interchange of ideas and skills across over 45 different universities. The institute’s work in influencing the course of architectural education in the future is very admirable.

Nearly 45 universities were represented, making for a rich environment for the sharing of knowledge and experience. The Avani Institute of Design hosted the event and made sure that all of the guests felt at home. Guests said the event was made better by the variety of food available and the interesting atmosphere of the university. Both the College Student Council and the hardworking personnel behind the scenes put in many hours of preparation to make this event happen. With the unyielding backing of the students who shown persistent hard work and devotion, Avani Institute of Design was able to overcome the early fears brought on by weather issues.

The Avani Institute of Design USEC, Amridha K P, along with her co-workers UD Shahin and Ex USEC Akash, put in a lot of time and effort to make sure the event went well. They set a great example of leadership by assigning each event to capable individuals and then effectively coordinating and overseeing all of the many events. The event would not have gone off without a hitch if not for the tireless efforts of the students who gave their time and energy. Faculty coordinator for the Avani NASA team included architects Vishnu K and William Kennedy.

The meetings held during the event provided a platform for valuable discussions and constructive interactions among the delegates. The participants engaged wholeheartedly, making the event an enriching experience for all involved. The 66th ZNC Meeting helped Avani Institute of Design further strengthen its reputation in the architectural community, reaching new heights of recognition and appreciation.
