Surat/Hazira :  ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India), a joint venture between ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel, two of the world’s leading steel manufacturing organisations, has announced the commencement of its first batch of the MBA in Manufacturing Management programme in collaboration with Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani. The programme, set to begin on July 7, aims to groom young graduate engineers for technical leadership roles within the organisation.

AM/NS India recognises the importance of continuous learning and aims to strengthen the competencies of its employees through various capability-building initiatives. The MBA in Manufacturing Management programme is specifically designed to equip young engineers with the necessary skills to effectively manage production and operations, strategic planning, technology management, and resource organisation to create and sustain a competitive advantage. The selection of students for this programme was conducted through a rigorous assessment process across various AM/NS India locations.

The programme will be delivered through state-of-the-art digital technology, providing learners a comprehensive understanding of the latest manufacturing management concepts.

As part of the programme, AM/NS India’s engineers will have the opportunity to study under experienced faculties from BITS Pilani, learning the latest manufacturing management concepts and applying them to achieve efficient business results in their workplaces. Additionally, the students will have brief stints at the BITS Pilani Campus, further enhancing their learning experience.

AM/NS India has established partnerships with renowned institutions to offer work-integrated graduate, postgraduate, and PhD courses with a specific focus on Steel Technology. These partnerships include Kaushalya – The Skill University of the Government of Gujarat, BITS Pilani, and IIT Bombay.

Dr Anil Matoo, Head of Human Resources, IR & Administration at AM/NS India, expressed his pleasure in announcing the commencement of the two-year MBA in Manufacturing Management programme in collaboration with BITS Pilani. “We are pleased to announce the commencement of our first batch of a two-year MBA in Manufacturing Management programme in collaboration with BITS Pilani to build our talent pipeline and groom Technical Leaders.
