AM/NS India Commences first batch of MBA in Manufacturing Management Programme in Collaboration with BITS Pilani

Surat/Hazira :  ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India), a joint venture between ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel, two of the world’s leading steel manufacturing organisations, has announced the commencement of its first batch of the MBA in Manufacturing Management programme in collaboration with Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani. The programme, set to begin on July 7, aims to groom young graduate engineers for technical leadership roles within the organisation.

The MBA in Manufacturing Management programme is specifically designed to equip young engineers with the necessary skills to effectively manage production and operations, strategic planning, technology management, and resource organisation to create and sustain a competitive advantage. The selection of students for this programme was conducted through a rigorous assessment process across various AM/NS India locations.

Delivered in collaboration with BITS Pilani, an Institution of Eminence known for its academic excellence, the MBA in Manufacturing Management programme consists of four semesters, including 12 courses and one semester of project work focusing on Smart Manufacturing. The programme will be delivered through state-of-the-art digital technology, providing learners a comprehensive understanding of the latest manufacturing management concepts.

As part of the programme, AM/NS India’s engineers will have the opportunity to study under experienced faculties from BITS Pilani, learning the latest manufacturing management concepts and applying them to achieve efficient business results in their workplaces. Additionally, the students will have brief stints at the BITS Pilani Campus, further enhancing their learning experience.

AM/NS India has established partnerships with renowned institutions to offer work-integrated graduate, postgraduate, and PhD courses with a specific focus on Steel Technology. These partnerships include Kaushalya – The Skill University of the Government of Gujarat, BITS Pilani, and IIT Bombay.
