Ahmedabad | Gujarat — If someone asks you what is common between Shanghai, Dubai and Mumbai. Then the answer would be the presence of iconic skyscrapers. Now, Ahmedabad is all set to join the league with more than 31 skyscrapers being planned along the SG Highway and other areas including Sindhubhavan, Ambli, Bopal, Thaltej and Shilaj in the city.

The state’s Burj Khalifa is being built in Ahmedabad

The state’s Burj Khalifa, i.e. the tallest building, is going to be built in Ahmedabad, which is considered the financial capital of Gujarat. The tallest building with a height of about 162 meters and 38 floors is to be built in front of the Satellite Police Station through the Navratna Gulmahor Park project. This is the first mixed-use development project to date, as this tallest building will be designed keeping in mind all three demands: retail, commercial, and residential.

The same kind of buildings that are seen in various countries of the world will now be seen in Ahmedabad as well. The Navratna Group will be designing buildings that will rival the rest of the world.

Along with the price of land, tallest buildings are also increasing: Navratna Group

Pranav Shah, MD of Navratna Group, said that as the price of land is increasing, tall buildings are also increasing. The height of any building is being decided based on how many feet of road the land is located on, so people are being attracted to build high-rise and even iconic buildings. The trend of high-rise buildings and iconic buildings is increasing. We are going to demolish our mall and construct the tallest building in Ahmedabad.

‘People prefer to live high up because the air is good’ Pranav Shah further said that when they get something new, people like it. Young people travel around the country and the world. They have already experienced the world’s tallest buildings, so people expect to find buildings like the world’s tallest buildings right at their doorstep, and we try to match that. People prefer to live high up because the air is clean and the air is also good. So many people are afraid of heights, but while building tall buildings, everything is taken care of. We will also show people how new buildings can be built. Approval from the structural committee is very important for building a high-rise building. It is necessary to get the structure of the entire building approved. After that, building plan approval has to be taken from AMC or AUDA. After that, sales can be started after getting approval from RERA.

High-rise building projects are coming up in these areas

CREDAI Ahmedabad Secretary Ankur Desai said that buildings of more than 150 meters height are being built in the city. Such high-rise building projects are coming up in Sindhubhavan, Ambli, Bopal, Thaltej and Shilaj areas. Both commercial and residential projects will be built. The way real estate is developing, such projects need to come up in big cities.
