Surat Author Yuvraj Pokharna Gets National Film Awards Invite

SURAT: Surat’s literary community marked a moment of national recognition after city-based author Yuvraj Pokharna was invited by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting to attend the prestigious 72nd National Film Awards at Ekta Nagar on September 22, 2026.

The ceremony was held at the iconic Statue of Unity campus, bringing together prominent personalities from India’s film and creative sectors.

Pokharna, author of Hindutva For Gen Z, attended the national ceremony following the official invitation from the ministry. His participation has drawn attention in Surat’s literary circles, with supporters describing it as a significant recognition for a city-based writer.
