Mumbai | Maharashtra — The sixth edition of the Global Youth Festival (GYF), commemorating the 25th anniversary of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, has concluded on a powerful, culture-shifting high at Jio World Garden, where thousands young attendees came together to celebrate purpose, passion, and collective upliftment.

Hosted by Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur (SRMD), the 2025 Mumbai chapter marked GYF’s grandest edition to date, bringing together 60+ immersive experiences across six expansive arenas. The festival showcased the full spectrum of youth-driven expression- wisdom, wellbeing, adventure, arts, culture, music, mindfulness, leadership, and social impact.

Supported by the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra, this edition showcased a thought-provoking Innerverse experience blending art, tech, and sonic storytelling, Wisdom Masterclasses, and the Love and Care Arena- an experiential showcase for hands-on social impact projects spanning women empowerment, child education, rural upliftment, and environmental sustainability.

The highlight of the event was the Wisdom Masterclass by Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji, the founder of SRMD and guiding light behind GYF, inspiring the next generation to Take a U-Turn Within. Through 3 profound yet fundamental questions, Pujya Gurudevshri shared the way to begin one’s inward pursuit, and explained how we can navigate it with spirituality to be a happier. A power-packed address by Atmarpit Nemiji, Vice-President of SRMD, further inspired the youth to be wiser, be lighter, be a donor of love and be a meditator.

The event saw conversations with high-impact speakers and attendees such as Malaika Arora- Actress and Entrepreneur, Dipali Goenka, CEO of Welspun Living, Diipa Büller-Khosla, Founder of Indē Wild, Sarvesh Sashi of Sarva Yoga, Saloni Anand of Traya Health; Nilesh Shah, MD – Kotak Mahindra Asset; Kaushik Shahparia, CEO- Deutsche Bank; Damodar Mall, CEO- Reliance Grocery Retail; and Karan Sawhney, of The Tribe.

It also featured unique and picturesque experiences like the largest outdoor Sound Healing Experience and an Electronic Dance Music Yoga Movement Flow alongside an Adventure Thrill Zone with neon-karts, neon-pickleball, inflatable obstacle courses, bouldering, and human-sized games and cultural pop-ups.

The Main Stage captured the pulse of the festival with performances by Stebin Ben, bhajan-jamming sensations Backstage Siblings, the celebrated Mahadevan Brothers, and indie favourites Last Minute India, creating an atmosphere where music became a medium of unity and collective energy.

What unfolded over two transformative days has already begun to be hailed as a defining moment for a new generation.

Festival Coordinator Dr. Alok Shah shared, “This edition of GYF was built on the passion of young volunteers who led with empathy, awareness, and commitment. You could feel it in every arena. It may have lasted only a weekend, but for many, something shifted permanently.”

Anushree Sawant, a young marketing professional attending the festival shared, “I don’t think I’ve ever experienced anything like GYF before. It wasn’t just a festival, it felt like a space that finally gets us. A place where you can show up exactly as you are, but somehow leave as a better version of yourself.”

Neil Ramchandani said, “I walked in curious, but walked out transformed. The discourse by Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji was soul-stirring and gave a strong sense of direction to all present. His vision and a way to connect with the youth is evident through the Global Youth Festival. This is what the world really needs.”

Another young student shared, “Unlike most festivals or events, I have attended, everything felt curated for the realities we live with today-our questions, our need for grounding, our hunger for inspiration, our desire to belong. GYF was about clarity, connection, and real conversations.”

With Mumbai now illuminated by the afterglow of this generational gathering, GYF moves next to Kolkata on 14th December 2025, with an international edition set for New York next year.
