SGCCI to Host 7th Surat Auto Expo 2026, Boosting Automobile Industry Growth

Surat | Gujarat — The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI)  held a curtain raiser ceremony for ‘Surat International Auto Expo 2026’ on Friday at Awadh Utopia, in which the Auto Expo 2026 was launched. The SGCCI will present the seventh edition of the Auto Expo during 13, 14, 15 and 16 March 2026, in which more than 100 exhibitors will participate.

SGCCI president Nikhil Madrasi said that Surat International Auto Expo 2026 will prove to be a new milestone for South Gujarat. This expo will not only create new opportunities for the automobile sector but also for the trade, manufacturing and service sectors. This expo will prove to be an important step towards establishing Surat city as a global auto hub.

SGCCI vice-president Ashok Jirawala thanked the survey and said that every expo organized by the chamber opens new doors for the industry. Auto Expo 2026 will also make an important contribution to the economic growth of the city and the region.

Surat International Auto Expo 2026 Chairman Mehul Desai said that leading automobile companies from India and abroad will present their models, e-vehicles and auto technology in this expo. During the presentation, he gave a glimpse of the Auto Expo, which included a large exhibition of international automobile companies, electric vehicles, hybrid technology and auto components.

Auto Expo Co-Chairmen  Kanubhai Modi and Pradyumansinh Jadeja said that while the Auto Expo organized by the SGCCI is the second largest in India, this Auto Expo will provide an excellent opportunity for MSMEs and startups associated with the auto industry to showcase their products and innovations. Along with the industry, consumers will also get direct benefits from this Expo.

Exhibitors who have participated in every edition since 2011 were honored at the Auto Expo organized by the Chamber of Commerce.

During the curtain raiser ceremony, all those present were given detailed information about the theme of the expo, the date of the expo and the format of the exhibition.
