Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 29: TigerMonk, a prominent name in film and media production, has unveiled a new five-part documentary series celebrating Pune’s historic Ganesh temples. Aptly titled “Aitihasik Ganpati Mandire”, the series journeys through five lesser-known yet culturally significant temples — Trishunda Ganpati, Khinditla Ganpati, Gupchup Ganpati, Modi Ganpati, and Maticha Ganpati. Each episode delves into their unique architecture, spiritual resonance, and the cultural resilience they symbolize within Pune’s rich heritage.
The series was unveiled in the presence of Shri Mohan Shete, Renowned Historian and President- Itihas Premi Mandal, who has also anchored this entire documentary series. Along with him, Aditya Rathi, Managing Director, Shailesh Badve & Ketan Jadhav, Executive Directors, TigerMonk were also present on this occasion.
