Torrent Power Surat Bids Emotional Farewell to Corporate Relations Manager Tushar Shah

Surat, Gujarat – After over a decade of exemplary service, Tushar Shah, the well-known Corporate Relations Manager of Torrent Power Surat, retired on August 1, 2025, amidst heartfelt applause and admiration from colleagues, friends, and company executives.

Known for his sociable demeanor, professional integrity, and deep public engagement, Shah joined Torrent Power on November 25, 2015, and quickly became the face of the company’s corporate interface in Surat. Over the years, he established himself as a bridge between the corporation and the community, earning trust across various stakeholder groups.

At the retirement felicitation ceremony held at Torrent Power’s Surat office, colleagues fondly recalled his significant contribution to the company’s outreach efforts and public communication. The event turned emotional as one by one, fellow officers lauded his composed leadership and unwavering dedication.

“Tusharbhai was more than just a corporate officer—he was a people’s person. His humility and approachability made every collaboration smooth and meaningful,” said one senior executive during the program.

Torrent Power employees gathered in large numbers to bid farewell, offering floral tributes and mementos to Shah, whose legacy in the company is marked by professionalism and goodwill.

Before joining Torrent Power, Shah had an illustrious stint with Essar Steel Hazira Plant, part of the Essar Group, where he served in the Corporate Communications Department. His transition from the steel sector to the energy utility field reflected his versatile skills in media liaison, stakeholder engagement, and crisis communication.

Speaking at his farewell, Tushar Shah expressed heartfelt gratitude: “It’s been a wonderful journey. I have had the privilege of working with some of the finest professionals. Torrent Power gave me an opportunity to grow not just as a manager but as a human being.”
