Songadh, Tapi : Gujarat’s home affairs minister, Harsh Sanghvi, has asserted that there will be no gaps in the law for individuals who unlawfully convert innocent tribals.  Sanghavi addressed the gathering at the Ram Katha led by the esteemed kathakar Morari Bapu, which took place in Gunasada village, Songadh district, on Thursday.  Sanghavi received blessings from Morari Bapu and spoke to a sizable crowd in the village.

Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi participated in the Ram Katha led by Morari Bapu in Tapi district, coinciding with the Holi festival, and sought Bapu’s blessings.  He also conveyed his warm wishes to the residents of the entire Tapi district in celebration of the Holi festival.

The Minister of State for Home Affairs delivered a significant statement publicly, asserting that the government will take decisive action against individuals who mislead innocent tribal communities and lead them astray.  In this situation, particularly if any activities concerning religious conversion occur in the district and individuals are unjustly implicated, the law will leave no room for error.

On this festive day of Holi, the BJP President, accompanied by Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi and Minister of State Mukesh Patel, marked the occasion by applying Tilak Holi to Morari Bapu.  In a recent statement, Morari Bapu emphasized the need for industrialists to establish schools in tribal areas, highlighting concerns about religious conversion activities linked to free education in these regions.  In every region where schools are established, Morari Bapu will contribute one lakh rupees.

A significant development has occurred with the construction of numerous churches and Christian prayer venues in the Songadh and Vyara talukas of Tapi district, as well as in Mandvi taluka of Surat district.  In each village, one to two churches and places for prayer have been established.  The data indicates a significant rise in the number of individuals identifying with Christianity.

In areas like Vyara, Songadh, Dolvan, and Uchhal within the Tapi district, there has been a significant increase in the number of tribals embracing Christianity.  Recent estimates indicate that over 500 churches have been constructed in Songadh taluka, with more than 200 in Vyara taluka, and 100 each in Dolvan and Uchhal talukas.
