Gandhinagar : As Gandhinagar district gears up for the forthcoming Lok Sabha general elections, innovative initiatives have been unveiled to bolster voter awareness. On the auspicious occasion of Shivratri, selfie points dedicated to voting awareness will be installed at three prominent locations across the district. Additionally, school students have embarked on a unique endeavor by writing postcards aimed at raising awareness among voters.

Under the guidance of District Election Officer and Collector Mehul Dave, Gandhinagar district has undertaken various initiatives to foster voter awareness ahead of the Lok Sabha General Election. District Education Officer B.N. Prajapati highlighted the significance of these endeavors, emphasizing the importance of active participation in the electoral process.

Selfie points will serve as interactive hubs for citizens to capture moments while pledging their commitment to vote in the upcoming elections. Strategically placed in public areas, including vegetable markets and bus stands, these points aim to engage and educate individuals about the electoral process.
