The two-day Ram Utsav, starting March 1st, marks the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. To commemorate this historic occasion, Triyom Realty and Sampurna Vikas Trust, in collaboration with the university, have organized a grand celebration filled with devotion and a delicious twist.
The highlight of the event will be the attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest line of ladoos. Over 3,000 ladoos, specially prepared by Surat’s renowned Makhan Bhog, will be used to create this record-breaking line.
Making this attempt even more special, 15 kilograms of Prasad from the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be mixed with the ladoos, offering a unique taste of the holy site to the participants. The ladoos will be prepared and arranged within the Bhagwan Mahavir University campus in Vesu.
While the Guinness World Record attempt is a significant attraction, the Ram Utsav offers much more. Following the record-breaking feat, celebrations will move to the SIECC Sarsana, where cultural performances based on Lord Rama, Ramdhun, and Hanuman Chalisa will enthrall the audience.
The spirit of the celebration extends beyond entertainment. Sanatan Seva Nyas will distribute commemorative tokens, including Tamra Patra, Shaligramji’s image, special soil from Ayodhya, and Prasad, to attendees from various fields. This aims to bring the blessings of Ayodhya Dham directly to the people of Surat.
Piyush Vyas and Pooja Vyas from Sampurna Vikas Trust, along with Suresh Gondalia, chairman of Triyom Realty, expressed their excitement, stating, “Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya after 500 years is a moment of national celebration. The Ram Utsav is our way to commemorate this historic event.”
Pooja Vyas, president of Sampurna Vikas Trust, added, “After the Guinness World Record attempt, the cultural program will further elevate the celebratory spirit. We aim to make the blessings of Ayodhya accessible to everyone in Surat through this grand event.”
