New Delhi : Everyone was taken aback by the events at the shelter home in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Its victims’ anguish and distress will soon be on display in theatres. A realistic film titled “Nafisaa” was penned and directed by Kumaar Neeraj, based on this event. Writer/Director Kumaar Neeraj, Producer Vaishali Dev, Associate Director Simran Kaushik, and Director of Photography Najeeb Khan were all present at the Impresa Hotel in Mumbai for the poster unveiling of Spark Media Presents Nafisaa.

The film’s poster, which was illuminated by a lamp, represents Nafisaa’s anguish and calls attention to the tragic events in Muzaffarpur.

According to Kumaar Neeraj, he was so moved by the story of the tragedy that he decided a film should be created on it after reading about it in the newspaper. Over the course of several years, I wrote the script, conducted extensive research, met the victims, internalised their anguish and suffering, and am now preparing to offer the film version of the story. Though the names of the characters have been changed, the movie was inspired by real events, and we have not taken any artistic liberties in depicting them or the events they were involved in. No cosmetics have been applied to the artist, and we have shown neither superficial charm nor sweet truth. I have presented the truth in all candour, notwithstanding the fact that it was difficult to have it censored.

I was warned by the film’s writer and director that working with such a sensitive topic was fraught with peril, yet I persisted nevertheless.

Producer Vaishali Dev has stated that the film’s message is not to advocate or celebrate criminal activity. The movie really opens your eyes. The poster has been revealed, and the teaser will follow shortly.

The film’s cameraman Najeeb Khan has claimed that this film will shake the society. This Hindi film based on Muzaffarpur shelter home sexual abuse is produced by Vaishali Dev while Associate Producers are Beena Shah, Munni Singh and Khushbu Singh. Its cameraman is Sunny Deol’s Gadar fame Najeeb Khan. A song will also be seen in this film under the direction of famous Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya.

Director Kumar Neeraj says that by not showing all that is published in the newspapers or on the internet in relation to the incident of Muzaffarpur, the film has worked to bring out such truth of the girl child, which people are not aware of. . How girls were oppressed and exploited there. What kind of harassment the girls living there had to face, all this truth will be seen. Nafisaa’s artist and guest Rohit Bhardwaj, Noida District Judge Anil Kumar Yadav, Akshay Verma Prime News owner Mohsin Khan were present at the poster launch. Nisad Raj Rana, Prakash Dev, Manisha Thakur, Raju Kumar, Urzaan Ikchhapuria, Heena Khan, Divya Tyagi, Hansika Jahangid, Dinsha Gulati, Tejaswani Prakash, Govind Kumar were also present.
