FundooLabs, a homegrown venture from Vadodara, has emerged as one of Gujarat’s inspiring entrepreneurial success stories, transforming the way children interact with science through its innovative range of DIY scientific and sensory toys. With a firm belief in the ‘Make in India’ initiative, FundooLabs is leading the scientific and sensory toy segment by designing and manufacturing chemistry-based toys/kits and sensory play products that combine learning with fun.
Speaking about the achievement, Naitik Chotai said, “We are proud to represent Gujarat on a national platform like Shark Tank India. Our journey reflects the potential of homegrown brands in the manufacturing and active learning sectors. With this support, we aim to strengthen our product portfolio, explore new markets, and contribute meaningfully to India’s growing toy industry.”
With an ambitious target to achieve ₹200 crore in sales by 2030, FundooLabs continues to position itself as a strong player from Gujarat, carrying forward the state’s legacy of entrepreneurship, innovation, and manufacturing excellence in a growing industry.
Founded in 2016 by Naitik Chotai, an engineer brought up in Porbandar with a successful career in Larsen & Toubro, FundooLabs was inspired by a simple idea – to make science enjoyable and accessible for children. Starting as a science education service for schools, the company pivoted during the pandemic to become a full-scale product company, creating a range of non-toxic, safe, and engaging DIY kits/toys designed for children between the ages of 4 to 14 years.
Today, FundooLabs operates across 25 Indian cities with its products available in more than 3,000 retail stores, including premium outlets like Hamleys and Crossword. The brand has sold over 300,000 products so far and has also started exporting to neighboring countries, marking a significant milestone for a Gujarat-based start-up in the scientific and sensory toy space.
FundooLabs is now aggressively entering the direct-to-consumer (D2C) space through their website www.fundoolabs.com and is also available on quick commerce platforms like Swiggy Instamart and Zepto, catering to the modern urban consumer’s demand for quality, innovative toys with easy accessibility.
