Farmers affiliated with Khedut Samaj Gujarat paid tributes to the farmers martyred in Lakhimpur Khari in Uttar Pradesh.

Surat : Farmers affiliated with the Khedut Samaj Gujarat (KSG) paid homage and tribute to the farmers who were allegedly killed by a BJP minister during the farmers’ agitation at Lakhimpur Khari in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday.

The United Kishan Morcha under the leadership of Rakesh Tikait had called upon the farmers across the country to hold nationwide tribute meetings of the farmers who martyred during the farmers’ agitation, after they were allegedly killed by a BJP minister.

As part of the nationwide call, the farmers gathered at the office of KSG at Jehangirpura in Surat and prayed for the peace to the soul of the martyred farmers and also paid them tributes for laying their lives for the farmers’ community. The tribute meeting with attended by president of KSG, Jayesh Patel, Cooperative sector leader, Darshan Nayak, president of the South Gujarat Khedut Samaj, Ramesh Patel alias Ramesh Orma and other farmer leaders from the entire Surat district.
