Surat : The Western Railway (WR) authorities have stated that additional stoppage has been provided to the Ernakulam-Hazrat Nizamuddin Duronto Special train at Surat station starting from September 30.
According to the press release issued by Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of WR, the train runs on weekly basis and the stoppage at Surat station will be implemented with effect from September 30 for the train commencing from Ernakulam on September 28 and for October 3 for the train commensing on October 2 from Hazrat Nizamuddin.
Thakur stated that the competent authority has accorded approval to provide stoppage to train number 02283/02284 Ernakulam-Hazrat Nizamuddin Duronto Special train at Surat station on experimental basis for a period of six months with effect from September 20. Accordingly, the train number 02283 Ernakulam-Hazrat Nizamuddin Duronto Special train will arrive Surat at 2.57 pm and depart at 3.00 pm. Similarly, the train number 02284 Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Duronto special train will arrive at Surat at 11.25 am and depart at 11.28 am.

It is worth mentioning that only passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board this special train. Passengers are requested by the WR to adhere to all norms, SOPs related to Covid-19 during boarding, travelling and at the destination.
